## Ueber dieses Sailing boat

Philoctetes is a magnificent Bavaria Cruiser 51, purpose-built for those who demand comfort without compromising on authentic sailing experiences. This 15.6-meter cruising yacht offers exceptional versatility for bareboat charter from Athens, making her an ideal platform for exploring the stunning Greek islands and the azure waters of the Aegean Sea.

The intelligent design features five spacious cabins accommodating up to 10 guests, along with three full bathrooms—a rarity in this size class that ensures comfort for larger groups or extended family charters. The generous saloon provides an inviting gathering space, while the modern galley is fully equipped for provisioning and meal preparation.

Philoctetes combines ease of handling with genuine sailing performance. The furling mainsail and genoa enable confident management by bareboat charterers of varying experience levels, while the sturdy Yammer 4JH57 diesel engine (57 HP) provides reliable auxiliary power. With a cruising speed of 8 knots and excellent fuel capacity, she's equally suited for spirited sailing passages and leisurely exploration.

The Bavaria Cruiser 51 is renowned for solid construction and seaworthiness, with a comfortable motion in typical Mediterranean conditions. The 2.08m draft allows access to many smaller Aegean anchorages, while generous water and fuel tanks support multi-week voyages between provisioning stops.

Whether you're planning an island-hopping adventure, a family sailing holiday, or a memorable gathering with friends, Philoctetes delivers the perfect blend of comfort, capability, and authentic sailing character that defines unforgettable Mediterranean yacht experiences.
