Boat charter in Greece · Hanse 548 in Lavrion / Olympic Marina — “Ellora” — (2020)

Welcome aboard Ellora, a 2020 Hanse 548 that brings the best of modern performance cruising to the Aegean. Based at Olympic Marina in Lavrion, just south of Athens, she offers an easy gateway to some of Greece's most celebrated sailing grounds, from the islands of Saronic Gulf to the Cyclades beyond. Ellora's generous 16.22-metre hull sleeps up to twelve guests across five spacious cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom, so everyone enjoys privacy and comfort throughout the voyage. Under sail, Ellora is a joy to handle. Her well-balanced hull, large self-tacking headsail and easily managed mainsail make her responsive in light breezes and confident when the meltemi picks up. The spacious cockpit and wide, uncluttered deck give crew room to move, while the sheltered helm station keeps the skipper comfortable on long passages. Whether you are a seasoned sailor or taking your first charter, she rewards good seamanship with exhilarating speed and a smooth, stable ride. Below deck, the bright saloon and well-appointed galley make shared meals and evening conversation feel effortless. Each of the five en-suite cabins offers restful berths and ample storage, and the attention to detail reflects Hanse's reputation for practical, high-quality interiors. Generous ventilation and natural light keep the boat feeling airy even in the warmer months. From Lavrion, your itinerary can take you to secluded coves, turquoise anchorages and charming harbour towns, each a short sail away. Spend mornings swimming off the stern, afternoons exploring on foot and evenings watching the sun drop over the water. Ellora is more than a boat; she is the centrepiece of a Greek sailing holiday that combines adventure, comfort and unforgettable scenery.
