About this sailing boat

Sailing boat · Jeanneau · Sun Odyssey 49i · 15.1m

ALMYRA is an exceptional Sun Odyssey 49i – a perfectly balanced cruising sailboat that combines performance with comfort, making her an ideal choice for discerning sailors exploring Greece's stunning Aegean coastline. Built by Jeanneau in 2008, this 15-meter beauty features a thoughtfully designed layout with four spacious cabins and four full bathrooms, accommodating up to ten guests in comfort. The yacht's elegant saloon boasts large windows that flood the interior with natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation and dining. The modern galley is well-equipped for preparing meals while underway, and the spacious saloon serves as the perfect gathering space for evening entertainment. On deck, ALMYRA delivers an engaging sailing experience with her responsive handling and efficient sail plan. The furling mainsail and genoa make sail management intuitive, allowing crew members to focus on enjoying the magnificent seascape rather than struggling with complicated rigging. Her well-designed cockpit provides comfortable seating and excellent visibility, essential for those long, leisurely passages through the Greek islands. Powered by a reliable Yanmar diesel engine, ALMYRA achieves a comfortable cruising speed while maintaining excellent fuel efficiency. Whether you're anchoring in secluded coves, exploring charming island villages, or sailing open water, this Sun Odyssey delivers the perfect balance of safety, comfort, and sailing joy. Based in Nea Peramos with access to world-class sailing destinations, ALMYRA is your gateway to unforgettable Mediterranean adventures.

Crew change during the charter Crew Change: The permanent disembarkation of passengers who boarded at the start of the journey is prohibited if it exceeds seventy-five per cent (75%). The permanent disembarkation of passengers who boarded during the journey is prohibited if it exceeds seventy-five per cent (75%) of the number of additional passengers. The crew change policy outlined specifies that a crew change during a charter is permissible up to 75%. If the change exceeds this threshold, it necessitates the issuance of a new charter contract, which must be processed through one of Athenian’s bases due to the requirement for new procedures with port authorities. The fees associated with crew changes are set at €120, which covers water, electricity, and marina fees/services across all bases. For crew changes of less than 75%, an additional term can be added to the existing charter contract, allowing the process to avoid the need to visit any Athenian base for port procedures. If a new skipper is introduced, an extra charge ranging from €135 to €425 (for check-in/out fee) will apply, depending on the boat's size. This structured approach ensures compliance with port authority regulations while providing flexibility for charter clients regarding crew management.
