Boat charter in Italy · Sun Odyssey 54DS in Sardinia / Portisco / Cala dei Sardi — “Cassiopea II” — (2009)

Cassiopea II offers an exceptional bareboat charter experience in the stunning Mediterranean waters of Sardinia. This spacious Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 54DS combines elegant design with luxurious comfort, making her an ideal choice for groups, families, or extended sailing adventures. With five well-appointed cabins sleeping 12 guests and four ensuite bathrooms, Cassiopea II provides privacy and comfort rivaling many land-based accommodations. Each cabin is thoughtfully designed with excellent ventilation and generous storage, while the open-plan saloon creates an inviting social hub for evening gatherings. The 54DS design excels in both performance and liveability. Her responsive sail plan—featuring a furling mainsail and self-tacking jib—rewards skilled sailors while remaining manageable for less experienced crews. The 57 HP Yanmar engine delivers reliable power, with substantial fuel and water tankage supporting genuine blue-water exploration or leisurely coastal cruising. Based in Portisco, Cala dei Sardi, you'll enjoy direct access to some of Sardinia's most coveted sailing grounds: the emerald waters of the Costa Smeralda, hidden coves along the northeast coast, and the pristine Maddalena Archipelago. Whether you're seeking challenging offshore passages, relaxed anchorages, or vibrant harbors with world-class restaurants and nightlife, Cassiopea II positions you perfectly. The generous beam and modern layout make life aboard spacious and comfortable, while superior sea-keeping characteristics ensure confidence in varied conditions. Cassiopea II represents outstanding value for those seeking authentic sailing combined with sophisticated charter accommodation.
