About this catamaran

Catamaran · Lagoon · Lagoon 42 · 12.8m

Experience the Mediterranean in unparalleled comfort aboard DAY ONE, a stunning Lagoon 42 catamaran based in the picturesque waters of Paros, Greece. This 2020 model represents the pinnacle of modern multihull design, offering spacious accommodation for groups seeking an unforgettable sailing adventure. DAY ONE's innovative catamaran hull design provides exceptional stability and shallow draft, making her perfect for exploring Greece's hidden coves, secluded anchorages, and crystalline waters. With four well-appointed cabins and four bathrooms, all guests enjoy private comfort after days spent under sail. The generous beam of 7.26 meters creates an impressively spacious main saloon and multiple outdoor deck areas—ideal for entertaining, sunbathing, or simply taking in breathtaking Aegean sunsets. Powered by twin Yanmar engines delivering 255 horsepower, DAY ONE combines reliable performance with excellent fuel efficiency, allowing you to maximize your time exploring rather than refueling. The expansive deck layout, signature furling mainsail, and intelligent galley design make bareboat sailing accessible and enjoyable for experienced sailors, while the catamaran's forgiving handling characteristics inspire confidence in less-experienced crews. Whether you're planning an intimate sailing escape with family or a larger group adventure with friends, DAY ONE offers the perfect blend of performance, comfort, and accessibility. Explore the wine-dark waters between Paros and neighboring islands, anchor in protected bays, and discover why the Aegean remains the world's most compelling sailing destination. The spacious cockpit, superior sightlines, and stable platform make every moment memorable—from morning coffee with unobstructed sea views to evening stargazing from multiple outdoor spaces. Charter bareboat and write your own sailing story aboard DAY ONE.

Crew change during the charter Crew Change: The permanent disembarkation of passengers who boarded at the start of the journey is prohibited if it exceeds seventy-five per cent (75%). The permanent disembarkation of passengers who boarded during the journey is prohibited if it exceeds seventy-five per cent (75%) of the number of additional passengers. The crew change policy outlined specifies that a crew change during a charter is permissible up to 75%. If the change exceeds this threshold, it necessitates the issuance of a new charter contract, which must be processed through one of Athenian’s bases due to the requirement for new procedures with port authorities. The fees associated with crew changes are set at €120, which covers water, electricity, and marina fees/services across all bases. For crew changes of less than 75%, an additional term can be added to the existing charter contract, allowing the process to avoid the need to visit any Athenian base for port procedures. If a new skipper is introduced, an extra charge ranging from €135 to €425 (for check-in/out fee) will apply, depending on the boat's size. This structured approach ensures compliance with port authority regulations while providing flexibility for charter clients regarding crew management.
